How do you run a check on a company?
Using Credas' KYB solution, you can obtain reports on companies to help you identify the following:
- Group structure
- Key shareholders & UBOs
- Previous and current directors
- Up to 5 years worth of financials
- Corporate sanctions and associated PEPs screening
- Charges and trade debtors
Once you have obtained your report, you can easily run manual AML checks on directors/shareholders or issue journeys such as our Companies House Director Verification check directly from the report. To read more on our director verification journey, please click here.
To obtain a report, simply head to the 'Companies' tab within your portal. If you do not have access to the 'Companies' tab, please reach out to our team at sales@Credas.com.
You will then need to search for the company by either entering their company number or entering their name and/or address. You can see the full list of countries we can obtain company reports for, and what information we can obtain for them here.
If you searched for the company via company number, you will be taken straight to the report in question. If you searched for the company via its name/address, you will be presented with a list of possible companies. Simply, choose which company you are wanting the report for by clicking 'Add company'.
Your report will then be ready to view. If you need help understanding your report, please view our guide here.
If we were unable to obtain the report, this likely means we do not have sufficient information on the company to create a report, based off the information the company has publicly filed. However if you are unsure, please reach out to our team here.
