Modified on Fri, 17 Jan at 4:49 PM

We’re kicking off the year with a range of exciting enhancements to Credas, designed to elevate your experience, streamline your processes, and deliver even better results. A key focus of these updates has been improving our PDF reporting capabilities to provide clearer and more comprehensive insights.

Add User Groups During User Setup

We're enhancing the user setup experience!

What’s New?

In addition to assigning user roles during setup, you will soon have the ability to assign user groups directly when creating a new user as can be seen below. This new functionality aims to save you time and ensures your users are set up with the right access and permissions from the start.

Enhanced PDF Download Functionality

We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting enhancement to our PDF download feature! You can now export individual checks that you’ve manually completed into a combined PDF, making it easier to manage and organise your records.

What’s New?

This update allows you to export standalone checks in the same way you would download a PDF of a completed journey. It’s a simple, streamlined solution to keep all your checks in one place.

How It Works:

  1. Navigate to Quick Actions, where you’ll find the updated button labelled Export PDF Report (see image below).

  1. From there, choose to:
    • Download a PDF of a completed journey, such as our Identity | Address | International Screening journey, or
    • Download a PDF of the individual manual checks you’ve run on a subject.

For API Clients:

We’ve introduced two new endpoints to support this functionality:

  1. Retrieve active checks for an entity:
     GET /api/v2/ci/entities/{entityId}/pdf-export/active-check/sections
  2. Generate a PDF with the specified active checks:
     POST /api/v2/ci/entities/{entityId}/pdf-export/active-check

Archived PEPs & Sanctions Reports

We’ve enhanced our PDF reports to now include archived PEPs & Sanctions checks.

What Does This Mean?
You’ll have full visibility of the history of any changes to an individual’s PEPs & Sanctions record, including updates from ongoing monitoring so you can review previous flags alongside the most recent outcomes.

Why Is This Important?

With this update, you’ll never miss any historical flags, aiding you maintain a comprehensive and compliant review process.

Enhanced Source of Funds PDF Reports

In response to increasing demand, we are introducing an enhancement to our Source of Funds PDF reports. You will now see all available Source of Funds details provided by your clients included directly in the downloadable PDF report. Previously, some details were only accessible within the Source of Funds results in the Credas portal. With this update, all relevant information will be consolidated into the PDF report, ensuring you have everything you need in one place.

Adding Percentages to Source of Funds Funding Sources

We’re excited to introduce an enhancement to our Source of Funds checks!

What’s New?
In addition to the current information provided in a Source of Funds check, each funding source (e.g., mortgage or savings) will now include a percentage breakdown.

What Does This Mean for You?
This update gives you greater clarity by showing the proportion of each funding source contributing to the total funds, providing more detailed insights into your clients’ financial sources.

Enhanced Open Banking Results

We’re improving the insights you receive from Open Banking checks! You will now see the account holder’s name included alongside the bank account details in your Open Banking results.

Document Uploads

Each individual document uploaded / checked will incur a standard charge due to our supplier costs (in all platforms). If in doubt about how to minimise the uploads required per journey, please contact Client Services.
