Right to Work & Right to Rent Results

RTW/RTR Results

When your client has completed their check, the Right to Rent/Right to Work tab will appear as orange, as it will always need your manual review.

The reason for this is because the Home Office permits an identity service provider (IdSP) to verify an identity for the purposes of a right to work/rent check, it does not permit the IdSP to decide, for the employer/letting agent, whether the verified identity has the right to work/rent.

Because of this, the documentation used to verify the identity is presented in its own right to work/right to rent module that requires input from you as the employer/letting agent to confirm the individual's rights. This means that the report then clearly shows both whether an identity has been verified (by Credas as a certified IdSP) and whether the identity has been determined to have the right to work/rent by you.

If the Safe Harbour tab still presents as blue, your client has not yet completed their check. If the PEPs & Sanctions tab is red or green, this means that one of your colleagues has already manually reviewed the check.

Alongside the Right to Rent/Work check, you will also see a Digital Identity Trust Framework check which will either be a pass or a fail to confirm if Credas, the IdSP has been able to confirm the individual's identity.
