Accessibility improvements
The majority of the work carried out has been a continuation of accessibility improvements for users who may be using screen readers and accessibility scanners. We are targeting all areas of the apps and working to make improvements throughout to ensure we can achieve the required standards. Improvements include colour and contrast tweaks, icon visibility and text font zoom capabilities.
Postcode lookup
We have made changes to the postcode lookup element used within forms to improve the user experience. This includes validation on the postcode format, disabling the search button unless a UK postcode format is provided and improving the feedback to users where there are issues/no addresses found.
Source of funds
Validation added to email filed for giftor details to ensure we capture valid email addresses. We have also done work to resolve of an issue with the address lookup item causing crashes within the app when entering the address manually.
Open banking
Changes to introductory text displayed to users to improve clarity.
